Watching birds, protecting habitat, connecting with nature

South Fidalgo Island & Deception Pass State Park

Explore fresh and saltwater birds on West Beach in Deception Pass State Park.  Look for Loons, grebes, oystercatchers and much more. Dress for wind and rain, just in case. If there’s extra time we may check out south Fidalgo Island lakes and Cornet Bay.  Bring your Discover Pass to cover parking, and meet at 8:30 a.m. in the March Point Park ‘n Ride, off Highway 20 east of Anacortes.

Get Membership Information

Skagit Audubon Society holds monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of each month except for the months of July and August. We meet at 7:00 pm at Padilla Bay Interpretive Center(Google map), 10441 Bayview-Edison Rd. Mount Vernon. Meetings are open to all.

The board of directors meets at the same location at 7:00 pm on the first Tuesday of each month, except for the months of July and August.
