Watching birds, protecting habitat, connecting with nature

Wiley Slough and Fir Island, Skagit Wildlife Area

Date: Sat. 22 Apr, 2017 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
Duration: 5 Hours

Meet at Skagit Wildlife area on Fir Island, Wylie Road, the boat launch parking lot, at 8 a.m. to catch the morning birds. We hope to be seeing early warblers, shorebirds and some end of winter waterfowl too. Pack your April birding outfit: a scope and binocs, a thermos and lunch and join Bob Kuntz for a morning (and potentially longer) of birding in one of Skagit Valley’s good areas for water and migratory birds.  Plan to walk easy flat trails. Don't forget your Discover Pass for Parking.

Leader: Bob Kuntz,  annebobkuntz@gmail.com, or 360-424-9099
