Watching birds, protecting habitat, connecting with nature

Padilla Bay and Samish Flats

Date: Sat. 22 Nov, 2014 8:30 am - 12:30 pm

Saturday, November 22
8:30 a.m. to about 12 Noon

Meet at 8:30 at Padilla Bay Interpretive Center parking lot for a morning of exploring the area for winter specialties of Samish flats and Padilla Bay.  We'll begin by looking for birds in the uplands of Padilla Bay then take carpools to the bay and then finally, drive onto the flats to search with binos and scopes for our favorite winter birds. Bring a hot thermos, scope if you have one, and appropriate clothing. We will end around noon.
