Watching birds, protecting habitat, connecting with nature

Padilla Bay and Samish Flats

Start Date: Sun. Nov 22, 2015 8:30 am - 12:00 pm
Duration: 3 Hours, 30 Minutes

Meet at 8:30 at Padilla Bay Interpretive Center parking lot for a morning of exploring the area for winter specialties of Samish flats and Padilla Bay. We'll begin by looking for birds in the uplands of Padilla Bay, then take carpools to the bay and finally, drive onto the flats to search with binoculars and scopes for our favorite winter birds. Bring a hot thermos, scope if you have one, and appropriate clothing. We will end around noon.

Bring your Discover Pass to park at "West 90."
