Skagit Audubon

Watching birds, protecting habitat, connecting with nature

“eBird the Upland Trail”

Date: Sat. Jan 5, 2019 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Duration: 3 Hours

What is eBird?  It’s a community for birders, scientists, conservation planning and ultimately for the birds we love.  Join us for an introduction to eBird and a short walk around the Upland Trail to practice newly learned skills. We’ll begin in the conference room for about an hour to watch a couple of videos and hear from experienced users.  Topics will include accessing eBird from your computer or mobile phone.  Birds noticed during the walk will be entered as an eBird checklist with individual help.  Before you arrive, download the free eBird app to your mobile phone and set up your account profile at  RSVP appreciated.  Trip leader:  Jeff Osmundson,
