Contact Tom Ozretich at (206) 330-6129 or tom.ozretich@gmail.com if you have questions.  Drive directly to the trailhead to be there by 9:30 (Camano island hikers leave at 8:30) or meet at Mount Vernon Safeway at 7:30 am. This hike is off the Mountain Loop Highway and ends at a beautiful mountain lake with great views. From 8.98 to 10.78 miles with 1200 ft elevation gain. Difficulty: moderate to hard. Faster hikers finish at 2:30 pm; slower hikers finish at 3:00 pm. Everyone returning at stated times is to wait for all signed in for that time to return safely before leaving.
