In addition to bird-watching, Skagit Audubon organizes hikes!

The Skagit Audubon Hiking Group organizes day hikes every Wednesday year-round in Skagit, Whatcom, and Snohomish counties. The hikes vary from coastal paths to mountain passes. Length and level of difficulty depend on location and season.

Skagit Audubon hikes are open to anyone who enjoys hiking and being part of a group. All new hikers must complete a waiver (available here), show up at the appointed time and place, sign in, hike with the group, and report their miles after they have completed the hike.

Membership in Skagit Audubon is appreciated but not required. Hikers participating in wilderness hikes should come prepared with the 10 Essentials on every hike and be prepared to follow current COVID safety protocols.
