JULY 17  OPTION 1: SAUK MOUNTAIN  Meet at the Sedro-Woolley Food Pavilion at 7:30 am. This hike is 4.2 miles there and back with 1200 ft elevation gain (moderate difficulty) with an option to walk down to Sauk Lake for a 7.2-miles round trip with 2400 ft elevation gain (challenging). 12:30 pm return for those going to the summit only; 2:30 pm return for those doing the summit and the lake. Carpool accordingly. OPTION 2: ROCKPORT STATE PARK TRAILS. Over 4 or more miles of trails in an old growth forest and out to the Skagit River and back. Difficulty: easy. Return time depends on those you are carpooling with.
