Meet at NSRA parking area on Helmick Road, just east of Sedro-Woolley on the north side of SR 20.  We will walk the trails along both sides of Hansen Creek looking for the likes of American Bitterns, Soras, Virginia Rails, Northern Harriers, Marsh Wrens, Tree Swallows, White and Golden-crowned Sparrows, and Mountain Bluebirds.  Binoculars are required, spotting scopes optional and field guides helpful.  Please wear sturdy, waterproof walking shoes and be prepared for wet, cold and mud.
