BIRDING THE UPLAND TRAIL AND PROGRAM WATCH PARTY

When: April 8th (sign-up info below) and May 13th (sign-up info coming in May newsletter)

Where: Padilla Bay Interpretive Center, 10441 Bayview-Edison Rd., Mt. Vernon

Since our programs have trended towards Zoom presentations in the last few years, members mention that they miss the social aspect of our monthly meetings.  So, for the next two months we will try to get together and take advantage of the longer days to gather at Padilla Bay for both a birding walk and later watch the monthly program in our meeting room.  The meeting will be on Zoom but we will show it on the big screen and post in-room questions in the chat.

The birding walk will be on the Upland Trail with a meeting place in the parking lot near the entrance to the trails.  The trails are partly paved and partly gravel with some moderate slopes.  We will walk about 0.8 miles in a loop and plan to spend about one hour. The meeting time will be 5:30 and will end at the same place we started.  Sign up for the April birding walk here:

After the birding walk those that wish can get together in our usual meeting room in the Padilla Bay complex.  We will have the projector and screen set up to view the evening presentation.  If we get enough members joining us we can consider making decaf coffee and folks could bring light snacks.
